There are plenty of hiking trails nearby, offering a great way to enjoy the mountain scenery and learn more about the unique local flora, fauna and culture. One of the town’s “Mlynář walking circuits” leads right past the accommodation complex (see the map), At the top of Medvědín mountain – 1,235 m above sea level – is the starting-point of the Bear Trail (the name Medvědín means “Bear Mountain” in Czech). This trail is designed specially for families, combining wonderful views with plenty of fun activities for kids.
